Bazaar
Following in the footsteps of the 2003 Auction benefit, Ar.Co promotes on the 17, 18 and 19 of November 2006 a sale/exhibition “Bazaar”. The fundraising event takes place at the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) and shows 255 works offered by 152 artists (collaborators, ex-collaborators, students and ex-students) to help stabilize the school’s finantial situation. There is drawing, painting, sculpture, prints, ceramics, illustration and cartooning, jewellery and photography. A special program of experimental film and video is on view throughout the exhibition. The initiative has 1.000 visitors and produces a profit of about 100.000,00 €.
