Caminho do Oriente / Guia do Olhar
As part of the commemorations of Ar.Co’s 25th anniversary – and responding to a challenge put forth by the Caminho do Oriente project – 4 finalists from the Photography department (Ricardo Martins, Diane Gazeau, Paulo Pascoal, Dulce Fernandes) produce images of farms, old convents and disused industries located in the area that goes from Santa Apolónia to Marvila. The outcome can be seenbetween February and April of 1998 in the exhibition “Caminho do Oriente / Guia do Olhar”, that takes place at Beato’s old animal feed factory, with the support of the Lisbon City Council.
