Museu de Cerâmica das Caldas da Rainha
Ar.Co’s Ceramics department and the direction of the Museu de Cerâmica das Caldas da Rainha (interested in promoting more than just the local Ceramics production) collaborate set up a program of exhibitions dedicated to the work of Ar.Co students and teachers. The “Cycle of New Art Ceramics at Ar.Co” starts off in May-July 2002 with the exhibition “Emotions – Ceramics by Helena Abrantes” and continues (still in July) with the “Exhibition of Ar.Co’s Ceramics students 2001/2002” (with the participation of Alexandre Rebotim, Ana Fernandes, Ana Sardinha, Ana Paula Velez, Anna Westerlund, Carla Valentim, Carmina Pais, Carolina Fonseca, Cláudia Rocha, Edith Sousa, Elizabete Bento, Elizabete Ruivo, Elza Rocha, Emídio Franco, Gonçalo Carvalho, Helena Abrantes, Isabel Farinha, João Albino, Manuel João Carvalho, Maria Beatriz Sant’Anna, Maria Prazeres Silva, Maria Sofia Magalhães, Maria Teresa Ogando, Maria Teresa Vieira, Mário Nascimento, Marta Portugal, Megumi Hayashi, Olga Martins, Paola Lazzeri, Raquel de Jesus, Sara Guerreiro, Sofia Ramalho and Tiago Sousa Marques). From November of 2002 to January of 2003, Bela Silva and Teresa Ramos have a two-person show at the Museum.
