Gulbenkian Prize (Education)
Created on the occasion of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s 50th anniversary, the Gulbenkian Awards resort to an independent jury to reward, between 2007 and 2011, “individuals [and] organizations with extraordinary and groundbreaking activity in the statutory areas of the Foundation’s action: Charity, Art, Science and Education, and [also] International.” Ar.Co’s candidature, presented by João Lobo Antunes in the first edition of the Awards, is distinguished with the Gulbenkian Education Award.
